Pr. Samuel George is the founder of the War of Fasting & Prayer Ministries. Born on 4th November 1979, and brought up in a faithful Christian family in Bangalore. His mother was a prayerful woman. From childhood he was a very rude and stubborn boy. During his school days there were lot of problems and complaints faced by his parents because of his misbehavior. When he was in 7th std, he was detained twice and the third time he hit his class teacher and ran away from the school. That was the end of his studies and he involved himself into bad company. By the end of 15 yrs he was addicted to various habits and made up his mind to become notorious criminal. This attitude of his separated him from his family members. They began to hate him; they thought that it was the extreme end of his life. But his mother earnestly prayed to God for a change in his life. He was rejected by everyone and no one could accept him because of his bad reputation.

One night while he was sleeping, his mother found him blabbering in his dreams, so she kept a Bible underneath his pillow and prayed for him. This made him uncomfortable and he was very angry with his mother. He behaved very harsh with her and kicked the Bible and went back to sleep. But after a week he saw a vision, in which somebody held his hand and took him to a deep place where he could see a large fire furnace and hear the voice of people shouting "Help us" he could feel the heat waves blowing over him and a sense of fear hovered within him. When he suddenly came back to his senses he woke up and was very much terrified. He could feel the irritation, of the heat waves all through out my body. He wanted to get rid of it. He did not find any solution to help him come out of his irritation. At last with lot of pain he shared his experience with his mother who took him to the pastor whom he always insulted. When the pastor prayed for him, he sensed that something was leaving his body at that moment ad he was relieved of his pain. He committed many sins and prayed as the pastor asked him to pray.

But after that incident, he was again into the same kind of habits. But God in His faithfulness did not forsake him. he again saw two more visions of Hell, which gradually changed his life. He gave up bad friends and started attending church that brought him closer into the communion of Christ. He began to take part in the church activities and gave up all worldly desires. He attended a Bible college after he received a call for the ministry. At the end of his course, on March 7, 2006 while he was praying asking God to guide him further that was the day God revealed him to start the ministry and people would volunteer to join hands in the ministry. According to His call, he started WAR OF FASTING & PRAYER MINISTRIES in the year 2006 April 12 with 6 members.

God enabled him to register this ministry as per the government regulations. God began to use this ministry in various places. Many people received healing from their sickness, people were delivered from satanic forces, people who did not have children were blessed with children, and many youths surrendered their lives to Jesus. Thus God began to work wonders and miracles through this ministry for his glory.

Thus God, who called him, is faithful and has been so compassionate to him leading him according to His plan and purpose. He also has a plan and purpose for every one of you and will surely bless you
